Housing:

The HUD-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (HUD-VASH) program combines Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) rental assistance for homeless Veterans with case management and clinical services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).  VA provides these services for participating Veterans at VA medical centers (VAMCs) and community-based outreach clinics.

At Veterans Housing Assistance and Training Support (VHATS Inc.) ​located in Sherman Oaks, CA every veteran gets the attention he or she needs to obtain the veterans benefits they earned. VHATS views VA benefits as a form of workmen’s compensation. If you were injured on the job, wouldn’t you apply for it? VHATS is dedicated to helping veterans determine their eligibility status for:

Service-connected disability
VA pension
Dependents and Survivor benefits
Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment
Transition Assistance

Far too many veterans suffer invisible wounds, including Traumatic Brain Injury and PTSD, which make transition to civilian life very difficult.  We have been serving the men, women and families of the military since WW1 and will continue to do so as long as there is a Veteran in need. Services are available for women, children, families, veterans, homeless persons, seniors, and other programs are available.
